Hanks has hit another homerun.

What about "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Lev.18:22) is confusing?

I am personally well acquainted with the works of Bible believing Christians. The local mission's motto is "Soap, Soup, and Salvation." That has been typical for those who value souls for 2000 years.

All the religious left is doing is producing some better fed folks who are heading to hell.

I think most of the respondents to your articles have missed the point...Yahshua said Himsel that we would "have the poor with us always." This means that no matter what each of us does, the poor will prevail. In reality, poorness is caused by two methods, individual slothfulness, and government corruption. Individual slothfulness is addressed by the statement that "those who do not work, do not eat." The poverty caused by governments the world over who through greed and power keep their subjects in poverty as a means of controlling the massess and rewarding the faithful of the despots in power. This is the cause of the poverty that we will have with us always...and this is the povery that we must fight any way we can manage.
Thanks for listening.\

"The religious Left, which cherry-picks the Bible".

After reading you articles I guess you are quite cherry-picking yourself, my brother. As someone wrote above "There are around 12 verses in the Bible about homosexuality (and Jesus never says anything about it! My comment). There are thousands about poverty". That gives a hit on what God thinks is important. (I'm doing the conclution that God would speak much on what he cares much about, and less on what he cares less about, seeing the Bible as Gods word.) I'm not saying that we should count all the words and phrases in the Bible and then do only what will be most frequent. I'm saying that it gives a hint on what God thinks is important and also hints on where we shold put our emphasis. And I belive things mentioned seldom, still matter.

Matt 23:23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others."

I love the words "but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others." I prolong for a Christianity with fullness.

When Jesus answers the question concerning the greatest commandment in the Law, he answers: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." Matt 22:37-38
I think you should pay some attention to that Jesus doesn't stop there. He continues: And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Matt 22:39-40

And I have a hard time feeling confidence in you becuase of this. You don't call peoples who denotes themselfes as Christians "brothers" or "sisters", not even Christians, but fake Christians! (Since you call yourself a real Christian and it's obvious you mean they aren't real Christians, which would be fake Christians). And I have a hard time finding any love for those you brothers in you articles. And I get the feeling that you see them as enemies, and they should be loved to as we all know, according to Jesus (Matt5:38-48). Still I get the understanding of hatered when I read your articles.

And also I find it irrelevant how much money you send to orphans. Why do you choose to post that?

I would also like to add that I'm swedish, so I apologise for the possible linguistic erorrs in the text.

With brotherly love, Jonas
