The framing of Iran by the godless

by Don Hank  August 9, 2015

An article in globalresearch describes Neocon attempts to spread a false narrative (http://www.globalresearch.ca/iran-accused-of-being-behind-9-11-attacks/30777) implicating Iran in the 911 terror, which was perpetrated by 18 terrorists, 15 of whom were Saudis and none were Iranian (their funding came from Saudi citizens). This spinning of narratives to deflect attention from the guilty-as-sin Saudis has been ongoing since at least the 1973 petrodollar agreement (http://laiglesforum.com/how-the-petrodollar-perpetuates-islamic-terror-2/3315.htm).

Recently, a prominent leader of the movement to wage war on Iran told me he thought my writing had a tinge of “anti-Israel” bias. As a Christian, I feel a kinship with the ancient Hebrews that is more intimate than with any others except the early Christians.

The fact is, my bias is strictly biblical and I don’t care one bit what others say, including people calling themselves Christians.

The Orthodox Jews are the only legitimately biblical Jews in the sense that they accept our Old Testament, and Orthodox Jews were the ones who held a protest against Netanyahu’s visit to the US Congress to fan war sentiment. I have two Orthodox rabbis on my mailing list and both of these gentlemen wrote me after reading my article critical of Netanyahu and heartily agreed with me on biblical grounds!

Consider the following from Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Israel

A Gallup survey in 2015 determined that 65% of Israelis say they are either “not religious” or “convinced atheists”, while 30% say they are “religious”. Israel is in the middle of the international religiosity scale, between Thailand, the world’s most religious country, and China, the least religious.[18] The Israeli Democracy Index commissioned in 2013 regarding religious affiliation of Israeli Jews found that 3.9 percent of respondents felt attached to Reform (Progressive) Judaism, 3.2 percent to Conservative Judaism and 26.5 percent to Orthodox Judaism. The other two thirds of respondents said they felt no connection to any denomination or declined to respond.[19]

So 65% of Israelis do not believe in the God  of Abraham yet, when demanding US support for their wars, play the part of the “chosen people”!  Israel was indeed  God’s chosen people, but when they fell away from their faith in Him, they lost their blessing and were scattered throughout the earth. A people that does not honor God is no longer His people, although there is hope for their salvation just as there is for all of humanity regardless of their wickedness.

Let us admit as Christians that God did not personally bring a bunch of atheists and non believers together to become the new state of Israel in the sense of a divinely chosen nation. Only those 26.5% Orthodox and 3.2% conservatives could be the true children of God according to Old Testament principles, and their views are not represented in Netanyahu’s Likud Party, which hordes of foolish Christians support without question.

So let’s stop pretending that allowing the Likud (posing as the God-chosen people) to talk America into attacking Iran and Syria, the Muslim countries that are least anti-Christian by far, is God’s will. I can state in all confidence that such is not true.

This is the evil narrative of the Neoconservatives, who have advocated using weak minded Christians as pawns in their unscrupulous game.

Irving Kristol, dubbed the “godfather” of the (Neoconservative) movement, “has long argued for a much greater role for religion in the public sphere. (using naive Christians to do their dirty work — Don)

At the same time, he stressed that religion was for the masses alone; the rulers need not be bound by it. Indeed, it would be absurd if they were, since the truths proclaimed by religion were “a pious fraud.” [my highlighting] (any “Christian who allows himself to be led around by the nose by such ungodly people is disobeying God and committing a grievous sin! — Don)

Jesus commanded us to be wise as serpents. Instead we have chosen to be witless as oxen and obedient to evil contrivers who spin Biblical truths to enslave us in ways that get Middle Eastern Christians and other minorities killed.

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 16:25 (translated from the Hebrew)
