Declassified DIA document shows US supported founding of ISIS, supports Trump policies

US did indeed support the founding of ISIS

By Don Hank

I just now dug up an older article from Zero Hedge that is more relevant today than ever because it shows that the US was one of the supporters of ISIS and it also contains confessions of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) that they support the same pro-terrorist policies that Trump is now putting in place – even as he pretends to oppose ISIS. The fact is, anyone opposed to Assad wants Syria to be controlled by US-supported terrorists. Ask any Syrian Christian.

“Safe havens” are suggested in areas conquered by Islamic insurgents along the lines of the Libyan model (which translates to so-called no-fly zones as a first act of ‘humanitarian war’; see 7.B.)

One of the first foreign policy ideas floated by Trump was “safe zones” ie, no-fly zones. This is the US’s first step to ousting a national leader, as the US did with Ghadaffi, using extreme violence. Trump was preparing the way for removing Assad, the only Syrian leader sincerely fighting ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria. I keep getting infantile emails trying to show that Trump really wants peace but that the deep state is standing in his way.

However, this notion is contradicted by things he said even during his campaign. For ex, while he promised not to interfere in Syria, he also stressed repeatedly that the US must build up its armed forces so that “no one will ever mess with us again.” But there were only 2 countries that had superpower-grade military forces that would require more US military might and they were Russia and China. There would not have been any need to build up to take on, say, Iran or N Korea. Therefore, he was most likely thinking about Russia in Syria. To him, despite his intention to be friendly with Russia, that country was “messing with” the US by bombing “our” terrorists in Syria and thereby protecting Assad. He thought that, because of his popularity among patriots, he could get away with this.

He also said in his speech before AIPAC in 2016:

“When I’m president, I will adopt a strategy that focuses on three things when it comes to Iran. First, we will stand up to Iran’s aggressive push to destabilize and dominate the region.”

Woa! Iran, via its army and Hezbollah (declared a terror group by the Neocon Establishment, hoping you were not very smart), was fighting terror in Syria. Only a member of the Deep State establishment – or a deeply disturbed person – would call that “destabilizing the region.” It is a contradiction in terms to say that fighting Al-Qaeda – the group that killed 3000 of us on 9-11 2001 – plus ISIS is a destabilizing action. Only rank Neocons say this. Trump was a Neocon at heart even then and we should have seen that. The goal is a confrontation with Russia, which the article below says the US hoped to be friends with while ousting Assad. Indeed Trump’s secretary of state Rex Tillerson naively tried in his visit to Moscow to persuade the leadership there to back away from Assad based on the groundless accusation that Assad had ordered the use of Sarin gas against his own people at Khan Sheikhoun. It failed then (whereupon Israel assumed its role as proxy) and will always fail. Anyone who knows Putin’s modus operandi knows he is determined to see the US-dominated unipolar world give way to a more fairly distributed power balance, ie, the multipolar world where each nation asserts its sovereign right to self-determination without consulting Washington.

He also said during his campaign that Edward Snowden should be jailed, even though this whistleblower is popular among conservatives, libertarians and many other patriots including Trump supporters, and Snowden’s revelations were helpful in getting Trump elected. Only a sympathizer with the Deep State would rail so bitterly against Snowden. Trump knew which of our buttons to press but his heart was never with us and he was never truly anti-Establishment.

Ominously, in the above-referenced campaign speech to AIPAC, Trump repeated the lie that Iran is the biggest state sponsor of terror – even though Shiite Iran not only has never supported the SUNNI terrorists of Taliban, Al-Qaeda or ISIS and is in fact fighting the latter two in Syria that the US pretends to be fighting. (let me remind you again: it would be theologically impossible for a Shiite country like Iran to support the 100% Sunni terror (ISIS, Al-Qaeda and offshoots such as Al-Nusra). The truth is that the US and Saudi Arabia have always been the biggest terror supporters by far, and the US’s shameful role is confirmed by the below linked article. Trump’s pronouncements sounded like war rhetoric even then, and today we are seeing the anti-Syrian policies expressed early in his presidency.

Keen observers noted these ominous signs, but many supported Trump to prevent Hillary from being elected. Now it is no longer at all clear which of these 2 is the more warlike or the more sympathetic to the Establishment.

So please stop misleading the public into believing that Trump has good intentions but is being thwarted by the Democrats or the Neocons. He himself talked like a Neocon in his campaign. The argument that Trump wants peace but is being hamstrung is the same kind of argument used by Bush supporters to excuse his missteps.

QUOTE:

“Having watched our military policies in action, with the msm sound muted, I have come to an unshakable conviction: there is no hope that the anti-Christian and anti-American leadership of the GOP and Democratic Party in Washington will loosen its grip on power or change its mind and stop supporting terror. No hope whatsoever. If you think there is, you are deluded and contributing to the success of evil. At some point, I believe our military will realize that they are literally fighting a false flag war to destroy America. There is no other way to see it or say it.”

The above linked articles show I was right.

PS:

After sending some of you the wrong link yesterday, I sent you a good link to my article on Putin adviser Sergey Glazyev’s remarks on the collapse of the dollar as a means of eliminating US aggression. The correct link worked yesterday but was gone this a.m. Not to fear. It is now restored. Seems there was some work in progress last night that blocked it temporarily.

Here it is again:

Our fear is killing us

Before we begin today’s commentary, I want you to listen to a part of the below linked video and let me know what you think. This video

https://ccisf.org/videos/

was produced by a group that says it wants to improve US-Russian relations. Start at minute 30 and listen to this man’s suggestions for improving US-Russian relations.

Then please send me your thoughts on the following:

In your opinion, does this man have a sensible idea for how to improve Russian-US relations?

Does he understand Putin, his philosophy and his MO? That is, does he have reasonable expectations for Putin based on what you know about Putin? (I am assuming most of you have read my articles on Putin and Russia here, hereherehere and elsewhere. If not, it would be good to read some of this before responding).

Keep in mind that the group that posted this video has the avowed goal of making Russians and Americans understand each other. Earlier in the video the speaker says he does not like Putin. Do you think the Russian people will sympathize with this man because they too have misgivings about Putin or do you think Russians generally like Putin and will be put off?

I will appreciate your taking the time to respond to at least part of this.

We have various groups that say they want to end war. I wanted you to see what some of these groups are doing so that you can assess their work and their approaches to the problem they are attempting to solve.

I would prefer if you would take the time to provide your answer below at the forum, but you may also write me directly. Thank you!

Now back to today’s business:

Our fear is killing us:

by Don Hank

Let me start off with an anecdote. Today I was walking in our neighborhood with my wife when a young dog, an obviously very playful and gentle female, came up to us and started rearing up and putting its paws on our legs to be petted. I petted its head and fell in love with it right away. But my wife started getting nervous and declared “I’m afraid it will bite us.” What was the source of her irrational fear? She had heard the old myth that if an animal smells your fear, it will attack you. Try as I might, I could not calm her or convince her that this myth does not apply to gentle dogs that do not bite.

This encounter with the gentle dog reminded me of Westerners and their irrational fear of Russia, Assad, Iran, all far-away places that we are supposed to fear and hate and that we are trying to destroy because of the fear ginned up daily by the press and the political class.

The following email from our friend JB is a clue as to why Trump is even more dangerous than GW Bush.

My email correspondent JB, a staunch fiscal conservative with a Master’s from a prestigious university, would agree that the msm are not reliable. But now Trump is president, and Trump is in agreement with the same msm that falsely accused him of being a Kremlin spy, so his followers now suddenly believe the press. This kind of thinking would seem silly to any unbiased rational person. But many Americans do not question the leaders we have chosen. To do so would be embarrassing and make us feel guilty. So we blindly let the tail wag the dog, and pray.

Why do we do this? In fact, both sides focus on their evidence, but this exchange with JB shows that evidence is not the issue here. The real issue is found in the fields of anthropology and mass psychology – that is, the mindset of the average American and what makes him tick.

The most solid evidence that the US citizen lets the tail wag the dog is the fact that after Donald Trump sided 100% with the Establishment, the US people kept siding with him thinking that they were being anti-Establishment. In fact they were now being Trump Establishment, of course. No different from the run-of-the-mill Establishment.
They were in fact suffering from a bad case of group-think, and what they believed to be thought processes were nothing more nor less than a monkey-see-monkey-do slave mentality. They were looking over their shoulders to see what other “anti-Establishment” people were doing and saying, and they were imitating them as best they could – for warmth, the same reason cows huddle together in the winter time. For the most part, they simply let Trump do the leading and switched off their brains. After all, they shallowly reasoned – if it could be called reasoning – since Trump has proven himself as the anti-Establishment leader, then we can trust him (OMG!). Yet Trump had never been a political leader before he began siding with the Establishment that he claimed to oppose. He had been a candidate. Candidates are not leaders. They are just basically car salesmen, some selling decent cars, some selling lemons. They become leaders only once they assume the presidency. But once Trump entered the White House, he almost immediately switched sides and let the Neocon / Neoliberal Establishment lead HIM. Now he is clearly selling lemons and the public is buying them without question.

Tragically, very few noticed this, and aside from a few bloggers like myself, who are not ambitious to land important positions in msm or politics, no one has any interest in exposing the ugly reality. Only by following and supporting a powerful movement can an activist succeed in the West-osphere In fact, let me tell you something personal.

Two writers and activists, who purport to be in favor of getting along with the Russians recently contacted me and complimented me on my work. But I noted that they only praised me for forwarding the work of other authors, never my own personal writing. I admit, I am utterly incendiary and no one knows what to do with me (because, while my writing often stings, I carefully document everything I say). Few up and coming Western activists or authors would dare quote me (though I often see the ideas expressed at my humble web site finding their way into their writings). Their narrative is that I am too pro-Russian, and on top of that, pro-Assad and, —gasp!—pro-Iran! But our president has commanded us to hate and fear Iran. So I am dangerously out of step and for now they won’t touch me. Eventually, they will cautiously let me know I was right, but only after the current administration has led them over the cliff and it becomes fashionable to disagree with Trump.

Therefore, the legions who are currently following Trump into WW III would not dare express support for my opinions. Not yet.

But who loses here? Is a warmonger who fails to see the risk of provoking a nuclear power not the real danger and not a little guy with no skin in the game who is only trying to warn America of a grave danger?

I guess WW III is no big deal. I have even had close friends tell me that human beings have no business trying to prevent wars using reason because – are you ready? – only God makes wars and only government “experts” are qualified to discuss war-related issues in detail. I kid you not. I have been told that by friends!

This commentary is a hard lesson in American anthropology. And this is one very important reason why more than 50% of Americans now agree with Trump’s attack on the Shayrat airbase, despite the fact that no investigation was conducted – or even called for – by the administration. We watched GW Bush do the same sort of thing in Iraq, we saw it fail catastrophically in the long run, and yet, it is the adrenaline rush, the emotion of the moment, and the desire to please powerful people who are in fact our enemy, that drives us. No rational considerations need apply. So what are the chances now of us shaking off our emotion-induced stupor and realizing that we are buying one more lemon from the car salesman-in-chief du jour? Does America stand a chance? Well, perhaps about as much chance as we have of the FED and Congress spontaneously ending deficit spending before we fall over the debt cliff. America – both official and private – is a creature of habit, and so far shows no sign whatsoever of abandoning ingrained deadly habits. It is my humble conclusion that any change in our thinking must come from outside the country. The US is not yet capable of governing itself.

The Muslims-are-all-bad meme fuels terror

The Muslims-are-all-bad meme fuels terror

by Don Hank

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.  1 Corinthians 16:13

I keep getting emails praising this or that Islam “expert” who rages against Islam per se and holds up Israel as a shining light in a world of darkness (see below). But these experts don’t mean Israel, they mean the war hawk Likud party which seeks to invade Iran to enlarge its elbow room, using false narratives of the “threat” posed by Tehran. Yet Likud does not equal Israel and for that matter, the Israel of today is not the Israel of antiquity that God blessed. God banished those Israelites from their land when they turned their backs on Him. Pray tell, in view of the fact that only a fraction of Israelis believe in the God of Abraham, when have they turned godly again? A while back I asked a “Zionist Christian” friend that question and never heard back from him.

Unfortunately, though, the vast majority of these people who “enlighten” us about Islam make no distinction between Sunni and Shia, and yet such distinction is one of the vital facts any real expert would know and teach. The reason for this is political. Every single ISIS member is SUNNI and belongs to the most violent and intolerant religious sect in the world, the SUNNI sect of Wahhabism, a product of the Saudi dictatorship to which Washington bows. Not just the Democrats. ALL of Washington.

EVERY single Al-Qaeda member, including Osama bin Laden, is also a SUNNI Wahhabist, and so is EVERY single Taliban member.

BTW, this is not to say that all Sunnis are dangerous or potentially so. Consider that Sunni-majority Indonesia has the highest Muslim population of any country, and yet we almost never hear of terror acts committed by Indonesians against Westerners (though Shia-Sunni rifts are common), and yet, most of them are Sunni. This is because modernist Islam (a moderate Islam heavily influenced by Islamic thinkers influenced in turn by the West) predominates there, where the government is generally secularist – just as the governments of Assad, Saddam Hussein and Ghadaffi are or were secularist, and terrorists, for example, are or were not tolerated. It is, of course, no coincidence that the West has opposed these secularists, paying obeisance to the Saudis and their zeal to spread Islam by the sword. No surprise. But no excuse either.

Despite the relative moderation of the Shiites compared to the Sunnis in the Middle East, as described above, for purely political reasons, it is de rigueur to claim that Shiite IRAN is the biggest terror supporter in the world.

To add to the utter absurdity of the official Western narrative, Iran is fighting ISIS in Syria. Of course, these same “enlighteners” regarding Islam never dare mention that Assad, the man we are supposed to hate, is also a Shiite, of the Alawite sect, or that the Alawites are by far the most tolerant and non-violent of all Muslims and are hated by the Saudis for it. The Western call to oust Assad is just a genuflection toward the tyrannical Saudis with whom the US is joined at the hip for reasons discussed in part here and here.

Anyone who tries to create the impression that Iran is a threat to civilization is simply caving to the Neocons who gave the world near-total chaos in the Middle East. No matter what the consequences, this myth must be broken. Nothing is more important. If anyone tries to sell you this swill, ask them to name ONE terror attack in Europe or the US that was perpetrated by Iranians or Hezbollah.

The notion that ALL MUSLIMS are evil and dangerous in fact plays into the narrative of the Neocons, who use this simplistic notion of a monolithic, heterogeneous Islam to wage war strictly against the SHIITES, precisely the branch of Islam that is fighting ISIS. After all, if All Muslims are equally dangerous and evil, then we have a mandate to destroy Iran and Assad as well, and that is exactly what they want you to believe. We often hear from our kindly, enlightened Christian conservative friends: Kill them all and let God sort them out.

But the fact is, NEVER in a million years would the world be able to rid itself of the Saudi-supported ISIS if no one ever challenged the ALL-MUSLIMS-ARE-EVIL myth. Because without the “evil” Iranians and the “evil” Assad, Syria would still be in the grip of ISIS, which, may I remind the reader, would not be there had it not been for wholehearted Western support for the Arab Spring and subsequent arms and support supplied to the “moderates” by US war enthusiasts. Needless to say, all of the moderates are Sunni Wahhabists.

Part of this challenge is NEVER to give credence to those who support the anti-Iran myths. Unfortunately, the myth is supported by BOTH sides of the aisle in Washington and by many intellectually lazy Americans, both conservative and liberal, who are waiting patiently under the table for the Washington Establishment to someday throw them a few scraps as long as they don’t meddle in the State Department’s meddling. ONLY Russia challenges this myth and fights alongside the Shiites in their war against the SUNNI terror supported clandestinely by the US and EU governments.

Ironically, US foreign policy today is in the hands of people who rail against political correctness, but these are precisely the ones who by their actions support the SUNNI radical Saudi Arabia while making the absolutely false and dangerous claim that IRAN is the biggest terror supporter. (So please, put aside your cheerleading role and don your watchdog hat).

Ask yourself: Are you REALLY politically incorrect or is your mind being controlled by a gigantic hoax even as you cheer on the ringleaders?

Another rah rah moment in American history

Trump victory: another rah rah moment

by Don Hank

I wonder if you will recall that the GW Bush wars were started by rah rah talk, as when Dubbya stood at ground zero and, with his arms draped around two NY firemen, proclaimed “the people who knocked down these buildings are going to hear from us.”

So ask yourself: Did “the people who knocked down these buildings” really hear from us? Now every American who experienced that moment lived through the wars that followed. But remember that the “people who knocked down these buildings” were mostly Saudis because it was they who founded and funded – together with the US Deep State – Al-Qaeda. But instead of declaring war on the Saudis, our real enemy, we attacked the enemies of our enemy, the Taliban (which had around that time plotted to oust the Saudi royals) and Saddam, who ran a secular type government with little or no emphasis on Shariah and even had a Christian in his cabinet. The Saudis hate secular leaders and the US helps them eliminate them. (Here is a clue as to why we are so obliging to them: http://laiglesforum.com/how-the-petrodollar-perpetuates-islamic-terror-2/3315.htm).

Thus, absurdly, Dubbya was aiding and abetting the “people who knocked down these buildings” and killed up to 3000 Americans.  And he and his Neocon pals had to know that the Christians and other large groups would leave Iraq in droves if we “won,” and that chaos would ensue, forcing the US to occupy.

And how about that Afghanistan? What a great victory! Rah rah. Not. US and allied troops are still there and the carnage is heart-wrenching – for all but the arms industry and its financiers.

Thus we can state with confidence that, facing the TV cameras at ground zero that day, George W. Bush was thumbing his nose at a bleeding America. (This fits in perfectly with Bush’s cover-up of the Saudi role in 9-11 as reported subsequently by the Washington Post ).

Now with that deception in mind, you will note the unbridled euphoria over the Trump election. Rah rah. Millions of Americans were relieved that we would now have peace.

And in fact, we might.

But we might not either.

Yes, Donald Trump had promised he would cooperate with Russia. The prospect of peace that this signaled is one important reason many Democrats crossed over to vote for him, for example.

But what many of us have forgotten is the eerily similar rah rah moments of the Bush years and what rah rah moments usually mean in our great country. The greatness often lies solely in the rah rah, not in the situation on the ground, in the aftermath, our bleeding hearts and pocket books.

Some exceptionally alert observers are already pointing out that Trump has picked two rank Neocons for his cabinet, who have both warned about “Russian aggression” in Ukraine, despite the fact that it was the US and Europe who started and supported the bloody coup in Kiev for the obvious purpose of goading Russia into a defensive action that could be spun by our media into “aggression.”

Trump’s presumptive defense secretary has warned that the Russian “aggression” in Ukraine is “worse than we think.” This is a lie, as you know if you follow the web site that provides regular sitreps on the conflict in E. Ukraine. Bookmark this site and go there at least once a week. If enough Americans did, our “leaders” would not dare arm the Kiev fascists. Even, if you followed the OSCE’s regular Ukraine reports, you would also know the aggressor is Kiev’s troops (many of which are fascists, eg, the Azov Battalion) that the US government supports.

But Mattis is not the only one beating the war drums against the country Trump promised to “cooperate with.” Mike Pompeo, Trump’s pick for CIA director, recently returned from a trip to Kiev, and after fruitful discussions with the Neo-Nazis there, says that “Putin’s aim is to take over Ukraine” (Mike would have fit in nicely in a Clinton cabinet) , implying that Russia wants to attack Ukraine militarily. If that were true, Putin would have done the job a long time ago before NATO had deployed troops all over Eastern Europe, including 30,000 at the Russian borders (reminding Russians of Hitler’s Operation Barbarossa that destroyed much of Russia and killed millions of Russians). No one is saying that a Ukraine thoroughly disgruntled with US and EU lies, like the false promise to let the country join the EU, might not voluntarily ally itself with Russia. It would be hard to paint that as Russian aggression, but recent anti-Russian (hence racist) drivel from the Western msm shows that no lie is too big for the warmongering elites to manage.

The latest E. Ukraine (Novorossia is the real name) sitrep shows that the Neo-Fascist sympathizers the US government supports in Kiev are now recruiting Lumpenproletariat, common thugs, with promises of free land, stolen from Russian speakers.

Now we are at another crossroads, another rah rah moment in American history. The euphoria over the Trump victory is great. Many are willing to go along with anything this leader wants. Like Bush, the Evangelicals have anointed him as God’s servant. The chessboard is arrayed exactly as before.

The question is: will you forget the lessons that Dubbya taught us and say to yourself: this time is different and the rah rah heralds a better world? Or will you recognize the rah rah moment for what it is: a time for you to say “not this time!”?

Postscript:

Writing for a news and opinion site is an endless job, as it should and must be. Since this was written, Trump is reportedly eyeing shifty arch-Neocon Mitt Romney for the position of Secretary of State.

So what’s wrong with that you ask? Here is a video featuring Mitt saying “Russia is our worst geopolitical foe” who always “lines up with the world’s worst actors”, among whom he counts Assad, the most pro-Christian leader in the Middle East, who is fighting for  his country’s life against Al-Qaeda and ISIS, groups that are armed and trained by our “ally” Saudi Arabia.

Trump has said he will cooperate with the same Putin that Romney has spent much of his career smearing.

Outrage: Know-nothing European “journalist” hacks meddling in US elections

Outrage: European “journalist” hacks meddling in US elections (they’re either bought or woefully misinformed)

by Don Hank

I watch the news and talk shows on Deutsche Welle and am hearing both German politicians and journalists alike saying some of the stupidest things about Donald Trump, notably that he – and not the warmongering Neocon Hillary – will be the one candidate to start WW III.

The German-based Spiegel Magazine has published, in English, a Neocon hit piece by Marc Pitzke titled “Trump Has Shown His True Side, It’s Time To Act,” with a secondary title “Donald Trump Is a Threat to the US and World Peace.”

Is that nuanced enough for you? Let’s see if we can guess whether Marc is another bought and paid for Establishment shill or an honest journalist seeking the truth behind the political correctness.

Ironically, this same Spiegel empire that publishes Pitzke’s tripe once featured at the top of its bestseller list, the book “Bought Journalists” by Udo Ulfkotte, former editor of the prestigious daily Frankfurter Allgemeine and best-known whistleblower on European media, exposing European journalism as a fraud bought and paid for by the CIA.

I had shown before that the real war monger is Hillary (who voted for the Iraq invasion) and the peace maker is Trump (who accurately chided Jeb Bush that his brother had made a mess of Iraq). I pointed out that:

Hillary, for her part, has compared Putin with Hitler, and her choice of pro-war cabinet members has led a number of scholars to predict that a Hillary presidency would lead to a nuclear war.

One such scholar, Stephen F. Cohen, professor emeritus of Russian studies at NYU and Princeton, has said:

“We’re approaching a Cuban Missile Crisis level nuclear confrontation with Russia,” he explained. “And there is absolutely no discussion, no debate, about this in the American media.”

“Then along comes, unexpectedly, Donald Trump,” he continued, “Who says he wants to end the New Cold War, and cooperate with Russia in various places… and –astonishingly– the media is full of what only can be called neo-McCarthyite charges that he is a Russian agent, that he is a Manchurian candidate, and that he is Putin’s client.”

Cohen is joined by other serious experts and US officials as reported here, here,  here,  here, etc, who  warn that, despite the outrageous lie that Trump is a threat to peace, it is in fact Hillary who may very well start the next war.

An article in Zero Hedge reports that Michele Flournay, who is expected to be named to head Hillary’s Pentagon, “advocates sending more American troops into combat against ISIS and Assad than Obama has been willing to commit.” By contrast, Trump has said “Let Syria and ISIS fight. Why do we care?”

I need to add to this that Hillary, and not only her choice of Pentagon chief, is on record as saying she supports a US-enforced no-fly zone in Syria, where Russia had already shown its deadly anti-aircraft missile power. According to “Little Marco” Pritzke, such a no-fly zone in a country bristling with dead-eye accurate Russian S-400s and S-500s would in no way threaten world peace. Of the two candidates, despite facts to the contrary, only Trump would be a threat to world peace in Pritzke’s benighted view.

But what about the US? Pitzke also averred Trump threatens the US. Now, as I just pointed out yesterday, the US invariably referred to by the bought Western “journalists” described in whistleblower Ulfkotte’s book is not the US people – that would be you and me – but rather the Washington Establishment, which is inexplicably touted throughout Western Elitedom as the Indispensable Nation and the Exceptional Nation.

Anyone who questions the wisdom of the US-led NATO, for example, is regarded by Western journalists and politicians as a blasphemer. After all, if the US Establishment is the Exceptional Nation, then it is to be regarded as blessed by the Almighty and anyone thwarting its will is opposing the Divine Plan for mankind.

Now if I had Marky Pitzke before me, I would remind him that NATO and the US took out Ghadaffi and created a vacuum that virtually invited ISIS to fill it. Libyan refugees with nowhere else to go have come to his country in droves. I would also remind him that the Syrian war was unwittingly supported wholeheartedly by Western politicians and journalists, who were supporting the Arab Spring, wherein foreign Islamist fighters opposed Bashar al-Assad, a secularist leader who had established a peaceful society in which Sunnis, Shiites and Christians alike respected each other, and, thanks to these Western efforts, millions of Syrians are now forced, like the Libyans, to flee to Europe, creating a major humanitarian crisis that threatens to collapse Angela Merkel’s CDU party. Likewise, the US Establishment worshipped by Pitzke and his fellow toadies invaded Iraq, causing the same chain reaction there, which also adversely affects Europe. And then there is the NATO-induced debacle in Kosovo that no Western journalist dares to write about, but which I have documented here. And let’s not forget Ukraine, which the Washington and European elites — notably those of Pitzke’s country — transformed into a failed state.

Ironically, Marc Pitzke fears Trump in part because Trump questions the usefulness of NATO and the US State Department’s policies that caused the crisis in Pitzke’s own country.

But unlike Pitzke, Trump’s supporters are justifiably not afraid that the US Establishment is being challenged. They are afraid it will survive long enough to create another Iraq, another Libya, another Kosovo, another Syria, and a war with Russia, none of which would benefit Germany or any other country.

Is Mark Pitzke not precisely the kind of “bought journalist” described by Udo Ulfkotte? Or is he just woefully uninformed or short on gray matter?

Either way, what in heaven’s name is this two-bit hack doing meddling in another country’s elections when he hasn’t a clue as to what is going on?

If you agree that this “journalist” lied about Trump being a warmonger, please write to Marc Pitzke at Marc.Pitzke@spiegel.de and tell him so. You can tell him that in lying about Trump, he is supporting the fascist Hillary Clinton, who talks as though she wants war in Ukraine to support the far right regime and its fighters who wear logos that originated in Nazi Germany.

More importantly, You can write to the Spiegel editor in chief from the page linked here http://www.spiegel.de/international/how-to-contact-spiegel-with-confidential-information-a-1030555.html and denounce the lying Marc Pitzke. I told them if they want to lie about Donald Trump, they need to be careful not to be so obvious. They can hate Trump if they want to, but they can’t honestly say he is a warmonger because he has said he can get along with Putin, and especially since Hillary’s statements prove she wants to confront Russia militarily, a very bad idea if you want peace. I sent them a link to this post.

The only solution to Washington tyranny: Restore state sovereignty

Restoring state sovereignty

Don Hank

The San Bernardino terror and the ease with which two jihadi killers entered and took up permanent residence in the US show that the US is putting US citizens in harm’s way.

Look, Folks, the solution is right in front of us and its name is state sovereignty.

Large central governments controlling large swaths of territory comprised of regions with people holding different political opinions and different cultures are an evil in themselves, because ultimately, a small group grabs all the power via “education” and the msm and produces a situation for the people that threatens life and basic freedoms.

Central government is the culprit here, and Europe is instructive. The EU has grabbed virtually total political power over European nations. Yet now that the EU is insisting on opening its borders to Muslim refugees in defiance of the will of the people and the nations, there are nations that defy them refusing to open their borders, such as initially Hungary, and later, at least partially, the Balkan countries, and now even Sweden, the country with the most open-border policy of all Europe. Under duress, European nations are rediscovering their sovereignty.

It’s not that the EU lacks laws to stop them, but it has no real power over them in cases where the exercise of such power threatens the security and liberty of the nations. They can’t enforce laws that are patently bad.

Our US states are analogous to these EU nations and their dire situation is also analogous. Our states do have a God-given right to sovereignty when the central government literally harms the citizens of the states as they are doing now with Obama’s resettlement of Syrian refugees and his policies of amnesty and open borders, all by fiat. Every American must know that no law that forces a people to harm itself can be Constitutional, regardless of whatever the Supreme Court says. The imported jihadis themselves are bringing this to light as they did in San Bernardino.

Eventually, our US states will be forced to do what Hungary and its copycats did and close their borders.

Here is what should be done now and will be done once enough Americans have died:

States that no longer wish to commit suicide will decide who enters their territory. If a person, even a US citizen, tries to enter a state, they may be denied entry on the basis of background checks. If they entered the US illegally, they may be barred — even if Washington gave them citizenship, because the state may decide whether this person was entitled to that based on the security concerns of the state. The states must be keenly aware that the Feds have overstepped their bounds as defined by Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution (see below). If a person desirous of entering a state has entered the US illegally, then the state may deny them entry on those grounds, legitimately claiming that the federal government exceeded the powers granted to it under the Constitution.

Naturally, the Supreme Court will declare the state’s position un-Constitutional. However, we must examine the European model to see what can be accomplished regardless of the wishes of central-government agencies, such as the Supreme Court, which today is nothing but an interest group defending the Washington cabal and no longer represents the people of the US. Again, taking our cue from Europe, the EU government has declared, under the Schengen Agreement, that no EU nation may close its border except under specific extraordinary circumstances that threaten the country in question. However, initially, when the Hungarians closed the border, the requisites defined by Brussels may not actually have been met for this closing. However, the Hungarians, the Balkan countries and Sweden did not beg the EU dictators in Brussels for help in securing their borders or seek legal recourse. They simply resorted to their sovereign right to self-determination, bypassing the EU, and made it clear that this is the way it is going to be. Brussels made noises that they would be punished, but nothing happened. In a revolutionary move, Budapest (like the capitals of the other renegade nations that followed suit) faced down Brussels and won, at least for now, thereby restoring its sovereignty and providing for its own security. Indeed, in so doing, it caused the other above-cited nations to take notice and still others seem poised to do the same. EU officials are now warning of a potential collapse of the EU, and although dire consequences are elicited by the cunning EU officials, there could be no better solution. The same can happen in the US, with states declaring a state of emergency following a mass jihadi murder, and while the US could bluster and threaten, if the state stood firm, there would be little Washington could do short of civil war.

If a person is from a terror exporting country and has entered the US after a certain age, say, 15, then they can be denied entry into a state based on the fact that their country of origin is a terror exporting country. If it can be proved that they are not SUNNIS, then the state may allow their entry. ONLY the SUNNIS are pursuing jihad (where do we read that in our PC press? Even Trump ignores this fact).  Whether this is “constitutional” or not is irrelevant. The state must stand firm or perish. Indeed, the grounds for doing so could be a declaration of state-level emergency or even a claim that the state is at war (with jihadis, for example), whatever it takes.

The legal grounds for state-level initiatives are clear:

Article 4, Section 4 of the US Constitution

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature can-not be convened) against domestic Violence.

The clear-cut grounds for the states to ignore US statues are that the US has failed to protect the states from invasion and/or domestic violence — as it actually did by admitting the San Bernardino jihadis into our country — and if the Supreme Court makes excuses for the jihad-sponsoring government, then it too must be defied on the simple grounds that it too is blatantly ignoring the above-cited clause. A grave risk to the people of the state is always legitimate grounds to ignore federal orders because no government can demand that its own people commit suicide. Everything depends on the will of the people to survive and to know and understand their God-given rights to life and liberty.

This restoration of basic state sovereignty could either happen now at the discretion of states with security minded populations or – based on the European model — it will happen spontaneously when it becomes clear that this kind of security is vital to keep the population safe from imminent harm. For now, there are enough libertarians and leftist liberals to convince the sheeple of most states that the absurd borderless-world ideology trumps security.

But once a critical mass of terrorist murders has been reached, there will be a spontaneous and unstoppable movement to secure our people, with or without the approval of our terror-supporting federal government, and the states will be at the forefront.

Trying to replace our corrupt central government with people who actually care about our nation’s security will fail as a permanent remedy, just as it has failed in Europe. A Trump presidency may be a vital stop-gap measure, but in fact, given the fickle nature of national political sentiment, only the individual states can provide for their security in the long run.

Sooner or later we will learn the valuable lesson that the states have the right to self-determination and only need to reclaim it. Those that lose this right to the federal government do so voluntarily by surrendering their sovereignty, ie, wrongly taking federal statues and their interpretation by a corrupt and ideology-driven Supreme Court – rather than We the People — as supreme. The number of dead Americans that lead us to that awakening depends on how soon our states respond to the threat.

We are being played: French strikes confirm my warning

by Don Hank

In this commentary, written the day after the recent terror attacks in Paris, I warned that French president Hollande may use the Paris terror attacks to overthrow Assad. I based this in part on the aftermath of the 911 attacks, reminding:

… GW Bush used the 911 attacks as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, which had not aided the 911 perpetrators in any known way. He stood on ground zero in NY and said “the people who knocked down these buildings are going to hear from us,” thereby setting the stage for a false connection in the minds of Americans, most of whom unthinkingly supported the ensuing non-sequitur and disastrous wars, which led, incidentally, to the creation of ISIS. The 911 perpetrators had been mostly Saudi terrorists, supported by Saudi money, but the Saudis did not “hear from us” at all, did they? The State Department did not so much as breathe a hint of caution in their direction. The Saudi conspirators and perpetrators were in fact fully absolved of all blame, which was heaped instead on scapegoats, at a tragic cost of American blood, treasure and prestige.

I saw an analogy with the Paris attacks, where the Saudis, the true perpetrators in the 911 attacks, represent ISIS, the true perpetrators in the French attacks, and the war on Iraq, falsely purporting to be revenge for those attacks (even though Iraq had nothing to do with them), representing the attack on Syria with the full intent of destroying the government of President of Assad, one of the last truly secular regimes in the Middle East that is not aligned with the US government.

Meanwhile, European cable TV stations like the French channel TV5, German Deutsche Welle, BBC, Italy’s RAI and US media outlets are constantly showing how nations all over the world are showing their solidarity with France, illuminating their monuments with the colors of the tricolore and of course, in the midst of this international blend of grief, solidarity and hysteria, no one anywhere (except me) dares to point out that the EU’s open borders and quotas for refugees from the Muslim world are some of the main reasons for terror attacks of the kind the world saw playing out in Paris.

Last night France did indeed execute 150 air strikes against the supposed ISIS stronghold Raqqa. They did so illegally, without the permission of the Syrian people, as I had suggested they would in my article.

Meanwhile ISIS spokespeople have said that the the targets were no longer occupied by ISIS.

The uninitiated would expect ISIS to be lying. So how can we check on this? I decided to do a web search and find out whether Russia had already struck in Raqqa. Indeed, Russian planes, acting legally at the invitation of the Syrian people, had struck Raqqa in early October and again on Oct. 15, as reported here. Reuters reports on Nov 6 of further Russian strikes in Raqqa.

This report from Oct. 5 shows that Russia had already knocked out an ammo dump in Raqqa. Yet the French claim that last night’s strikes knocked out an ISIS munitions dump in the same town.

Since I was able to find reports of at least 3 raids by Russia on ISIS targets in Raqqa, it seems odd that France would need to strike again. Certainly, Russia’s strikes would have left few targets for the French, and that would seem to corroborate ISIS’ claim that the French hit empty targets. Why would they do that? No doubt to claim those areas for the “rebels” fighting Assad. If the rebels reach those areas first, would the legitimate Syrian army dare to challenge them – even with Russia backing them up?

Whereas at that time of Russia’s strikes, the US insisted that the Russian strike only hit “moderates,” the Russians said they had hit ISIS targets. One side was lying. Surely our own State Department would never lie to We the People, would they?

This site promptly showed the State Department was indeed lying:

“The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a monitoring group, said at least 12 ISIS jihadists from the Islamic State group were killed in the Raqqa attack.”

Now it had been reported earlier that Syrian “rebels” (“moderates” supported by US but operating illegally under international law) intended to attack ISIS in Raqqa.

Now that France has struck again, perhaps striking no actual ISIS members (which the Russians may have routed completely in its October and November strikes in Raqqa), the “rebels.” supported by Washington and Europe, will have the propaganda advantage because the perpetually lying and treacherously deceitful Western media can claim that anyone opposing these US-backed Syrian terrorists are besmirching the memory of the dead in Paris.

You see what a despicable game is being played to gain power in Syria illegally and against the will of the Syrian people? You see how the French are preparing the ground to claim that it was they and not the Russians who liberated Raqqa – despite the fact that Russia had repeatedly struck ISIS in Raqqa throughout October and again in November and destroyed most of the targets France claimed to strike last night? We are being played just as we were in Iraq and in the Arab Spring, eg, Libya, Egypt, Syria….

If we the people again fail to see through the ruse, we will get what we deserve. That is, if indeed the Western powers are only pretending to fight ISIS, as Obama did in Syria by dragging his feet and even “accidentally” air dropping arms to ISIS, and as Hollande is obviously doing in France, by pretending to attack ISIS when in fact his actual target is Assad, the protector of Christians and minorities in Syria, ISIS will continue to grow unopposed and the Western world will be in thrall to these people whom Donald Trump aptly calls “cockroaches.”

Did the French choose to bomb Raqqa so that the anti-Assad rebels could get there first and claim it as theirs? The evidence is piling up to confirm this thesis.

I believe the Paris attacks were indeed used as a pretext to attack Syria without permission from the Syrian legitimate government for the purpose of claiming the very important city of Raqqa for the rebels. This is an indirect attack on Assad, exactly as I had foreseen in yestereday’s commentary.

Russian Sanctions hurt

Sanctions against Russia hurt

Don Hank

A reader tells me that the sanctions against Russia have been hurting them financially.

This is the perception throughout the West so far, unless you read reports from off the beaten trail. And then you see can easily through the lies.

You see, Western oligarchs are focused on keeping the world poor while robbing the little guy, and that is becoming an open secret. Eastern leaders can see this as a huge opportunity for doing business in ways that make everyone richer and better off. All they need to do is avoid the clumsy mistakes of the US oligarchs, and that is easy.

I have been forwarding articles showing that sanctions are not hurting Russia at all. They are gaining ground much faster than we are. Almost every one of our allies turned their backs on the World Bank (US based and led) and went over to the Chinese AIIB. This is a step toward dedollarization of world trade, which the Western press ignores pointedly (I pointed this out here http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/hank/141009)

In fact, the drop in the ruble is a huge boon for Russia, enabling them to sell more competitively to trade partners.

Then the Saudis struck deals with Russia for more powerful arms than we had ever sold them. That too is money in Russia’s bank.

Then about a week ago, almost every Middle Eastern leader met with Putin in Moscow, showing that they are pivoting away from the US and trusting Russia. For Putin that was like taking candy from a baby, because when a country’s government and oligarchs have cheated and lied repeatedly, eventually no lone trusts them. And that government is Washington.

In June Russia broke a record, selling more oil to China than the Saudis ever had sold them! The trade with China bypasses the dollar, using RMB only. Another major step toward dedollarization and loss of prestige for the dollar.

The Saudis are cooperating by charging more for their oil sold to Asia than is sold to the West. This helps Russia tremendously and is a clear signal that those closed door deals with the Saudis involved concessions to Russia in exchange for those weapons deals.

Now Russia is making deals with India for joint oil projects. These will almost certainly be denominated in currencies other than the dollar, another step in devaluing the USD.

Then there is the New Silk Route, a joint project with China to connect far flung regions for trade. Will the trade deals be in dollars? What do you think?

Rather than harming Russia, the sanctions drove them into the arms of our one-time allies. I don’t think they are coming back. My communications with Europeans shows they no longer trust the US, particularly since the bogus US subprime paper sold all over Europe, which set the stage for the current crisis there. Virtually every educated European knows this and, while their leaders remain discrete, they are waiting patiently for Washington to fall.

Russia’s new deals and sales of arms and oil are an indirect product of our sanctions and Russia is stronger now in trade and in world prestige than it ever was before.

Sanctions not only failed but they wound up greatly strengthening Russia!

The old Wolfowitz policy of encircling Russia has failed miserably as any fool knew it would. Russia is quickly emerging as the winner. Our policy makers are, to paraphrase Trump, STUPID!

It all reminds me of the Japanese emperor Hirohito in the last days of the war. He refused to believe that Japan could lose, even after the first nuke fell on one of his cities.

So the US dropped another.

Each of Putin’s actions is like one of those nukes, greatly curtailing US strength and prestige. Yet, Washington, caught in a paroxysm of normalcy bias, continues to forge ahead with its horrible policies, somehow convincing itself that it will win.

Let us hope and pray that whoever is elected our next president will start reversing these disastrous fraudulent foreign and financial policies that make America poor and garner the ridicule of nations.

And you know what? He may not have much choice.
