		<description>Dear Don,
I believe you have done the Christian world a service by publishing on your site Dr Lothar Gassman&#039;s book. This is about the best and most conprehensive coverage of the evil EU that I have seen (and there are now many!) Better still, it is written from a biblically faihful and spiritual stance which exposes exactly how the Godless EU ideology is incompatible with freedom, with democracy, and above all, with the Bible&#039;s world view.

Two brief comments. As you will know the European aspect of the current financial failures is now, in the view of those who are qualified to comment more than I, producing increasingly intolerable strains on the Eurozone countries. The result is that the Euro itself may well collapse as a monetary system, although it would be premature to forecast when this may happen. Although not a pleasant prospect for the countries concerned (probably Portugal, Greece, Spain, and even S Ireland), nevertheless in the long term it can only be beneficial. That collapse in the Eurozone economies will presage the inevitable collapse of the political aspirations of the EU establishment in each of the member states. Hallelujah!

Second, I think the author is right to draw attention to the relationship the EU purports to have with churches
I quote:
&quot;Art. 17: “The Union respects and does not prejudice the status under national law of churches and religious associations or communities in the Member States. The Union equally respects the status under national law of philosophical and non-confessional organizations. Recognizing their identity and their specific contribution, the Union shall maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with these churches and organizations.”

The language sounds benign and to the less observant, even reasonable. However, the claim that the EU &quot;respects&quot; (twice repeated)the status of churches, identities etc is betrayed by the avalanche of anti Christian legislation which pours out of the EU, and given legal force through national parliaments It is therefore, and in fact, a lie.
In addition, when it speaks of &quot;churches&quot; it means of course primarily the Roman Catholic church, and the institutional ecumenical/denominational churches which are either theologically liberal or modernist - not Bible believing. Indeed in France smaller independent churches are barely tolerated and others are regarded in some measure as deviant and therefore as sects.
As the author points out the EU ideology as worked out in its &quot;gender equality&quot; policies really mean the active promotion of homosexuality.
However, thank you for the excellent material you have freely posted, reminding Christians of the real nature of the evil of the EU monolith and the spiritual opposition to Christ and the Gospel it represents.
