Sally Kern vs gay agenda / Islamic hypocrisy / S. Baptist revolt
Tell Sally Kerns she speaks for you
Donald Hank
State Rep. Sally Kern, a member of the Oklahoma Legislature, recently garnered national attention when she criticized the “gay” agenda before a group of Republicans. Apparently there was at least one log cabin Republican there with a video camera and he or she decided to give Sally some bad press.
Obviously, leftist groups like the people at Pam’s House Blend think we’re supposed to condemn this lady.
They call her speech “unhinged, ignorant fact-free vitriol” and call her, among other things, a “homobigot.” Yet, if they are so brilliant, why the need to resort to foul language, e.g., the F-bomb? If she is fact free, where are their facts? The most solid fact opposing the active homosexual lifestyle is health issues. 70% of AIDS cases are gay males.
Further, what many gays fail to realize is that even those who have been intimidated into accepting their lifestyle and the absurd redefinition of marriage secretly are revolted by what gay men, for example, do in bed.
My wife found this out at work, where two of her PC co-workers insist that gays are victims and should have the right to marry but who, when reminded of what gay men do with each other in bed, recoil in disgust, calling this behavior all kinds of politically incorrect names.
Whatever Sally may lack in sophistication, she more than makes up for in sincerity and, as Laigle’s readers know, is 100% correct that the gay agenda is a real threat to our way of life.
Notice that these far left secular humanists never once address the actual issue of the effect of active homosexuality on society. The only rebuttal they can come up with is “you don’t speak for me.”
Let’s give Sally as much moral support as we can.
To send Sally a word of encouragement, here is her email address:
Then take this poll to let people know Sally Kern speaks for the State of Oklahoma, not just a handful of constituents:

Southern Baptists join enviro-marxists
Donald Hank
Readers who have been with Laigle’s Forum since August 2007 are not surprised. I had written then that Dr. Richard Land’s web site was an apology for the environmental Left. Maybe you were a bit skeptical then. Now we all know where most of their leaders stand.
My advice to all sincere Christians is: keep attending the church of your choice but if you are a member of a denomination, drop your membership. Keep going and donating only if you can earmark your donations for things you believe in, such as specific missions, pastor’s salary, etc. If you stay in the denomination and keep letting the denomination decide where your donation goes, you are indirectly supporting the godless Left, the very antithesis of the Church of Christ - or in other words, the very Anti-Christ. But if you start noticing that your pastor is saying politically correct things and pussy-foots around sin and evil and refuses to engage the evil culture, then get out and stay home with your family on Sunday, having devotions together with them or other likeminded Christians until such time as you find a church that is not only non-denominational but also whose pastor is not a wimpy pc man-pleaser. Do not feel guilty. The Bible warns us about being unequally yoked. If your church is yoked together with the world to the extent that they sound just like the Democrat Left (eg, mention that your main mission is to “feed the poor” or “to be good stewards” or that “Jesus never spoke out against homosexuality,” then feel guilty enough to get out. (Jesus didn’t mention specific sins, but his no. 1 handpicked apologist Paul did name sins and homosexuality was one of them).
The following letter by a Southern Baptist scientist and oil executive Doug Branham, reflects the way many feel at this point.
A Southern Baptist scientist addresses the Southern Baptists on global warming
By Doug Branham
I took no pleasure in writing this note to President of the SBC Page and Jack Graham. They need prayer that they would seek Godly counsel and not evil counsel. The Gospel of Christ and the Cross are an offense to them that are lost. If we are preaching them, we will not be spoken well of. The Bible warns us to be concerned when all men speak well of us - Luke 6:26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets. We as Southern Baptist need to be more concerned about winning the lost than about how we appear over bogus issues.
Dr. Page:
I am quite pleased that you took the time out of your busy schedule to reply to my letter. I am truly honored.I have read the document and, as an engineer, it says little beyond flowery, high sounding catch phrases. It certainly is not a forward, definitive map for progress. We are dancing with the devil by it. My concern is that we have joined with the enemy of the gospel thereby diluting the impact of the gospel. One cannot have a more effective impact with an alcoholic by having a “cool one” with him, for example. There is a deep division among the scientists, that is true. But look at who supports it and who doesn’t. When you do, you will find that the non-climatologists support it and the true climatologists are opposed. Why would we support the humanist/evolution perspective in any way?
Another concern is that the whole issue revolves around man’s arrogance and sense of self importance to think that he is big enough to affect this earth to any significant extent. Scientists tell us that one major volcano eruption spews more pollutants into the air than the sum total of all the pollutants man has created during his entire existence. Looking at the issue through this lens puts man in his proper perspective. Man is insignificant and at best puny when compared to the vastness and greatness of His creation.
It is true that we must respect God’s creation and not intentionally destroy it. But it is also true that He told us to subdue it. Obviously that is subject to interpretation but it certainly does not mean, as the ill-informed such as Al Gore intend, to turn back the clock of progress by doing idiotic things such as banning the internal combustion engine.
Lastly, the Scriptures are clear, at least in my mind, that the environment in the Last Days will be quite chaotic. Whatever the cause, God’s Word is forever settled in heaven and man will not change that. His coming is ever so close that we as a Christian people do not have the time and luxury to get tied up into pseudo/junk science. The field is white unto harvest while we are bowing at the altar of political correctness, seeking favor of men and the latest hoax, global warming. We should be involved in revival, a burden of tears for the lost and warning people of His soon coming in the air.
However cleverly crafted and well written, this declaration is divisive within our Convention and places an emphasis on this temporary living place while diverting efforts from higher priority issues. We are pilgrims passing through this land in search of a place that is prepared for us by God. We have placed far too much emphasis on living on earth as if it were our destiny. Consequently, we spend less time becoming more Christ-like and preparing for eternity. This earth is cursed and will receive judgment in due time; that is indisputable. Let’s return to the thrust of the founding fathers of the SBC from which we have left, winning of the lost at all cost and with a passion.

Islamists: Fear us and ve keel-l you!
By Donald Hank
Nothing could be more untenable than a universally feared group demanding that those who fear them stop saying they fear them or else!
Sort of like: “If you don’t start agreeing that ve are peaceful, ve slice you to ribbons.”
Make sense?
This is precisely the absurd posture of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which has issued an Islamophobe monitor stating that the soon-to-be-released film by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders will have “serious repercussions which could get out of hand and would be difficult to control.”
The unmistakable implication is that there will be a repeat of the kind of Islamic violence that occurred after publication of Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard’s cartoon mocking Muhammad.
Now suppose a group calling themselves the Organization of the Christian Conference issued a warning to the countless middle-eastern Christian haters, including those who are decimating Iraqi Christians and forcing them into exile, saying these anti-Christian actions will have “serious repercussions which could get out of hand and would be difficult to control.”
Would world Christendom band together and stand shoulder to shoulder with this group?
You know the answer to that.
“Shame on these so-called Christians,” the headlines would read, and lily-lipped sermons would be preached for months condemning these so-called Christians and their threats of violent revenge.
That is exactly the kind of response that must be demanded of the OIC, which needs to be reminded that precisely their threatened “serious repercussions” are the subject of Wilders’ film, and to threaten the Christian West is to admit that Wilders is 100% right when he maintains Islam is violent. The OIC has issued an untenable statement and must be kept in the corner into which they have painted themselves.
The only possible rational response to Wilders’ film that could sway people to sincerely disagree with its producer is a statement from the OIC that Muslims are a peaceful people and any Muslim who reacts violently to this film is not a true Muslim. Yet they attack the messenger and threaten him with violence.
At least the OIC isn’t pretending to be peaceful.
Thus, in the arena of ideas, Wilders wins the debate by default.
But will his countrymen - and the West as a whole - give him the credit he deserves? Or will they continue to cringe and cower behind their political correctness and cede ever more territory to the enemy of civilization?
Right now, the West holds all the cards. People with winning hands have traditionally won. Yet, the West is well-versed in the art of capitulating to adversaries inferior in number and skill.

Marriage is a basic civil right that should be attainable by all Americans if they choose. For the truth about gay marriage check out our trailer. Produced to educate & defuse the controversy it has a way of opening closed minds & provides some sanity on the issue: http://www.OUTTAKEonline.com

Hi charlotte,
You write:
“Marriage is a basic civil right that should be attainable by all Americans if they choose.”
No one wants to deny anyone the right to get married.
Do you think we should allow people to redefine marriage at will?
As a translator, I am familiar with the word for language in over 20 languages, including non-western ones, and not ONE of these words can mean a union of people of the same sex.
The ignorant really believe that marriage is a Christian tradition and hence religiously biased.
Oddly, Chinese, Korean and Japanese Buddhists define marriage the same way as we Christian conservatives do.

I live in Massachusetts where gay marriage is the law & nothing has changed except heterosexual & gay couples are equal…..:)

Civil right? I’m sorry, when was this “civil right” attained? I know I’m here in the US for just over 10 years, so, please, enlighten me.

If nothing has changed in MA, then that is really bad news.
BTW, gay marriage doesn’t exist anywhere in the world for normal people because we define marriage as our ancestors have for millenia and your laws don’t change that.
If you are living with a person of the same sex, then that simply isn’t marriage.
And good people aren’t afraid of labels like “homophobe” because we know these are just a way of fitting unsuspecting people with a leftist psychic iron cage.
No thanks, I don’t think my head would look very good in a cage.

Charlotte,
I saw your site. You are a very personable, likable person.
But the issue is not whether gays are nice. Most people know they — you — are nice enough.
The issue is the children.
I know you think that is not a big deal, but wait until the statistics come rolling in.
This gives us a hint of what to expect:
http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=IS01J3
Aside from that, marriage is a union between a man and a woman.
Gays have always found ways of being together. Marriage has never been one of them, simply because the definition does not fit.
Do whatever you want but don’t ask us for approval and don’t ask US to call it marriage. We don’t think it is.
Better yet, repent, come out of your dead-end lifestyle and join our side. We could really use you.
Best,
Don

Well, i can’t deny the healthy problem existing among them. But actually, we can’t refuse the marriage just because of this. I just remember the words from the forum of a bisexual club —-bimingle.com—- “Actually, we LGBT can also have a healthy life as long as we have more knowledge about it. we are learning and so do straight people”.
March 14th, 2008 at 11:11 am
Hello Shirley,
Americans aren’t denying gays anything.
No one can deny something that doesn’t exist.
Marriage is the union of a man with a woman.
No one is denying them that.
What gay activists are really asking for is a legal redefinition that differs radically from the natural definition based on a political ideology that is drastically different from the norm accepted worldwide in all cultures, even non-Christian ones.
The problem with these leftist ideologues is that most of them have never experienced foreign cultures first hand and can’t appreciate the UNIVERSAL unacceptability of what they are endorsing. They operate on the false assumption that people who inist on the traditional definition of marriage are Christian zealots. NOT SO! I have lived, and gone native in, China and Japan for years, studying those cultures and languages and making many friends there among the Buddhist-Confucianists and others. I have discussed precisely these family issues with them.
Gullible people are giving the gay agenda more than equality. They are giving up the common sense time-honored definition of marriage, which has stood the test of millenia THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
What has stood that long can topple in a careless heartbeat.
But we need to remember: All of these sociopolitical “changes” are incremental. once marriage has been redefined and its meaning corrupted, there is nothing left to stop the NEXT agenda from passing in the legislature and/or the courts.
Are you ready for the legalization of pederasty and the “protection” of pedophilic behavior?
When that comes, remember how you allowed your “compassion” for gays, and the foolish belief that they are the underdog, to pave the way for it.
The underdog will soon bare its fangs. YOU will be its lunch!

I agree with all three of Donald Hank’s postings here. Well argued and compelling.
As to marriage being a universal “right”:
Do we really want the full coercive power of the State enforcing the economic costs of this “right” upon all taxpayers and against organizations and persons who have religious or moral problems with homosexual marriage?
