Huge tax hike now on the books (and more)

The religious “right” looks a lot like the religious left these days
Have you noticed that, since some time in the Bush regime, the new “conservative Christians” are pro-life but not anti anything, including illegal immigration?
Mike Huckabee appeals to this crowd and has caused a kind of mass hysteria that ought to be seen as a real threat to our way of life.
By contrast, those minority Christians who still have the discernment to see the danger of open borders and amnesty will find Duncan Hunter’s words and deeds resonating with them.
Ronald Reagan warned a long time ago that a country that cannot get control of immigration will cease to be a sovereign country.
Take a look at this comparison and see if you see what we do: Hunter looks Reaganesque and Huckabee looks a lot like Jimmy Carter, who also liked to say that his particular brand of Christianity was his guiding light, blaming God for his numerous blunders.

Bush’s New Tax
The age at which retirees can collect FULL social security is now 67 (for those born after 1960) and probably climbing, up from 65. That means those people who wait for full benefits effectively forfeit to the government 3 incomes for 2 years
1-the 2 years of income from their social security that they paid (typical example: $20,000/yr)
2-the taxes (incl social security taxes) they pay during those extra 2 years (typical example: $5-6,000, but more for self-employed due to ss tax)
3-the money they lose by not doing the part-time work retirees normally do in at least the first 2 years of social security retirement. (typical example: $15,000/yr)
That is a huge chunk of change ($40,000/yr in the above examples, or $80,000 total) that people will be forfeiting, sometime after Bush is gone, but the rule change happened on his watch. In fact, since social security is now being used as a tax supplement to pay government’s bills, once this kicks in, this change may constitute the biggest tax increase ever in American history.
Read my lips: Bush raised taxes!
And Americans snooze on.

Warren-Driven Rick Warren’s Latest Flailing
Rick Warren and Joseph Farah had a sparring match some time ago, and Warren took a drubbing, as leftists always do when confronted by truth. Since then, Warren’s popularity has fallen dramatically.
For us, the last straw was when Farah, an Arab-American Christian who had spent many years as a news correspondent in the Middle East, criticized Warren for toadying up to Syrian President Bashar Assad and Warren blustered that he, Warren, was a member of the CFR and may “know more about the Middle East than Farah.”
Warren is still flailing wildly like a drowning man, as this article shows:

Rick likes to flatter dictators by telling them how important they are to the peace process. His flattery of Assad reminds us of how the Jewish leaders, anxious to rid themselves of the Apostle Paul, sent an orator to flatter Felix the governor, while Paul used truthful, straightforward language (Acts 24).

Chinese environmental hypocrisy:
The UN bullied the US to accept higher emissions standards in addition to already stringent existing ones.
Look at this clip showing how thrid world nations, including China pressured the US to clean up its environment and won, but without any obligation whatsoever to clean up its own filth:

Then look at this clip showing how the hypocritical Chinese government deals with their own emissions.

There is a Chinese proverb that can be translated roughly:
Don’t complain about the snow on your neighbor’s roof before shoveling your own sidewalk.
So far, of all the presidential candidates, only one, Duncan Hunter, has taken a reasonable stance on China (see above link) that would help put our jobs back in the US where they belong and end the environmental hypocrisy that the majority of Americans have come to simply accept.
