First, thanks to Jeffrey Long for responding so forcefully to Senator Graham for his treacherous remarks. I am actually glad Jeffrey wasn’t too PC and nice, even though that was what I had suggested.

As for the rest, please send Lindsey your thoughts. It is really important to let these people know that, as Jeffrey put it, we won’t forget!

I was shocked to read on the Internet that you recently had the gall to pander to the radical anti-American organization, La Raza, by referring to those of us who are pressing for strict border control as “bigots”.

As a former Special Forces Officer (70’s) and county GOP Chairman (Cumberland County, Fort Bragg, NC) I must tell you, Sir, that many others I know as well have taken umbrage at this gratuitous mis-characterization and will not forget it soon!

As one who is married to a Central American gal, who believes even as I that…es necesario que arreglemos mejor los asuntos en cuanto a como guardamos nuestra frontera al sur!… I was furthermore stunned that you would pander to such a leftist organization as this, which tells me clearly that you are either ignorant of the true nature of this group and its founders and objectives and goals (which is inexcusable for a U.S. Senator) or you are just another inconsistent pandering politician.

I have family members currently slated for infantry duty in Iraq. After reading of this shameless political pandering of yours, my only question at this point is: Exactly what the hell have YOU, and so many others of your confreres in the political class, done to defend America in the War on Terror, Sir!

The “latest” I am referring to is the so-called Madam’s 15,000 cell-phone numbers for her “escort service.”

Is a lot of the reason that so many growing evidences of abandoning principles possibly the result of so many prominent people all needing to stick together? If they don’t stick together, they are threatened with being exposed as being involved in some sort of non-political personal activities of some kind that can be held over their heads. Go along, get along, or “take the fall”??

Corruption of all kinds is coming out with ever-increasing frequency — yet is never enough to knock a participant out of the “club” of elites in D.C. — unless they exhibit some sort of reformist tendencies or conservative principles. Then they are a threat to exposing many others.

Think about who has stayed and who has been forced out, or not allowed in, over many past D.C. scandals.

And, Congress is not the only group which operates under the same “oath of brotherhood,” so to speak.

If you doubt that, think of all the growing numbers of misuse of position or access to control and finances across all of American society.

The new definition of bigotry is saying or doing anything to threaten the enshrined corruption and amoral behaviors, top to Main Street, USA.
